What an evening! As the sun set over Toronto, I had the privilege of capturing the love story of Nicole & Andrew. Our first stop was at the gorgeous High Park, which was full of colourful blooms. The vibrant hues of the flowers served as a stunning backdrop for our photographs.
As the evening progressed, we made our way to the historic distillery district. The charming cobblestone streets and vintage architecture of the buildings created an enchanting atmosphere, and we were able to capture some truly memorable moments. I wanted to capture more than just the traditional posed shots. I wanted to capture the raw emotion and connection between Nicole & Andrew.
To achieve this, I adopted a more creative approach, allowing the shoot to unfold naturally and capturing spontaneous moments that can never be replicated.
One particular moment that stood out for me was when an older gentleman walked through the frame during one of our shots. It was an unexpected interruption, but it created a unique and unforgettable moment that couldn’t be staged. This photo is one of my favourites from the session.
I am so grateful to have been able to capture Nicole & Andrew’s engagement in the heart of Toronto, and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding later this year.

I’ve been using Canon for 10 years and I’ve recently made the switch to Fuji. I’ve been having too much fun.
There’s something about Fuji camera’s that just have some soul to them.
I bought the X100V as an everyday camera and it is hands down my favourite camera that I have ever bought.
I then picked up a few XT5’s and those things are a blast as well. It almost feels like I’m shooting on film cameras.
One of the biggest things that I’ve been wanting to achieve lately is getting the feel. I want you to look at the photos and be able to feel what it felt like in that moment. I’m finding the Fuji cameras are helping me achieve just that.
